🎓 For colleges, universities, and high schools

Every graduate's name, pronounced perfectly.

How it works

From list to live ceremony in three steps. No software to install, no devices to hand out.

1

Import your grad list

Upload your graduate roster as a CSV with ID, name, division, and email. The app handles the rest.

2

Students call & record

Students dial your GradRecorder number, punch in their student ID, and say their name. About 30 seconds each.

3

Announcer hears it live

At the ceremony, the announcer wears a Bluetooth earpiece. One tap plays each graduate's name in their own voice right before they cross the stage.

Built for ceremony day

Everything you need to run a smooth, dignified graduation, and nothing you don't.

Phone-based recording

Students use any phone, any carrier. No app download, no account setup, no tech barriers.

One-tap check-in

Staff mark graduates as arrived on a phone or tablet. Only checked-in students appear in the announcer's queue.

Bluetooth earpiece playback

The announcer hears each name discreetly, never fumbling through index cards or phonetic spellings.

Practice mode

Before the ceremony, announcers can rehearse through the full list to build confidence and flow.

Automatic reminders

Students who haven't recorded get a friendly nudge by email until they do. No chasing required.

Status reports

See at a glance who has recorded, who hasn't, and who has been announced. Exportable to CSV.

Questions we hear a lot

Don't see yours? Ask us. We reply the same day.

Do students need to download an app?

No. Students call a regular phone number and record their name through the call. Any phone works: flip phone, smartphone, or landline. Nothing to install, no accounts to create.

What if a student doesn't record in time?

The system sends friendly email reminders automatically, up to four times. For the small number of students who still don't record, announcers can practice from the text roster as a fallback, just like they do today.

What does the announcer need at the ceremony?

A mobile phone or tablet connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data, and any Bluetooth earpiece. They tap a button per graduate; the recording plays in their ear; they then read the name aloud with confident accuracy.

How do you keep student recordings private?

Recordings are only accessible to staff at your school through an authenticated login. Data is tenant-isolated, so no other school ever sees your students. Sign-in supports Google Workspace or email with strong password requirements and 30-day "remember me."

How long does setup take?

About an hour. Upload your senior roster CSV, customize the reminder message, pick a date to start collecting recordings. We handle all the telephony on our end.

How is pricing structured?

Per-institution annual license. Get in touch for a quote tailored to your graduating class size. Pricing works for colleges, universities, and K-12 alike.

Make every graduate's name count.

Give your announcer the one tool they've always needed, and give every student the dignity of hearing their name said right.
